eShield is a proprietary enhancement of Amidon’s core Shield material, engineered not only to protect against ballistic and blast threats but also to mitigate electromagnetic pulse (EMP) damage and electronic signal intrusion. Unlike standard ballistic materials, eShield includes a proprietary signal-attenuating formulation designed to reduce the transmission of electronic frequencies through the surface in which it’s used, with shielding performance verified by testing of the installed enclosure.
